Today is the birthday of one of our students. We celebrated with blueberry muffins!

Just about everybody finished memorizing Matthew 6:24. Great job! So, tomorrow we are moving on to Matthew 16:15-19. This is one of the longer scripture mastery scriptures. We can do it!

Our lesson was on Mark 7:24-37. We read the verses together. We wrote down what happened in them and what we can learn from them. One student said we can learn, "That we can rely on Him." I thought his statement was very profound and wondered how he came to that conclusion. He said that if Jesus could do those things (cast out a devil and heal a deaf and dumb man), he can also help us. Then we talked about how we could teach these principles. A student pointed out that Map 11 in the back of the Bible shows where Jesus traveled during this time.
