Would dirty hands make one of the priests in our seminary class unworthy to hold the priesthood?

Would drinking from a dirty cup like this one make one of our young women unworthy to teach a primary class?

Of course not!

In Mark 7:1-23, we learn that the Pharisees accused Jesus and His disciples of not following the Jewish tradition of handwashing before eating. He taught that it is more important to be spiritually clean than physically clean. We talked about what that means and read 1 Nephi 15:34 and 3 Nephi 27:19-20 which help us understand the importance of being spiritually clean and repenting when we are unclean. I am thankful that through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can repent.
