What is the most glorious message ever given? We played hangman to find out. As it says in the Bible Dictionary, “The resurrection of Jesus is the most glorious of all messages to mankind.” We read the whole dictionary entry together to learn more of why this is true.
In Luke 24:36-48 (36-39 are the scripture mastery scriptures) we read about when Jesus Christ appeared to His apostles following His resurrection. On the chalkboard, we listed many things we learn from these scriptures about resurrected beings. There is more great information about the resurrection in the Book of Mormon such as Alma 11:42-46, Alma 40:19-24, and 3 Nephi 11:12-15.
I know that because Jesus Christ was resurrected, every one of us will be resurrected to our proper and perfect form. This knowledge gives me a profound sense of peace and reassurance.
