Today was another great lesson taught by the students. I divided them into two groups. Then I gave them paper, markers, and verses from Matthew 7. They drew pictures of what is taught in their verses, pinned the pictures on the bulletin board, and explained them to the class. We learned about judging righteously, not casting our pearls before swine, asking and receiving, the golden rule, the strait and narrow way, judging by fruits, returning to Heavenly Father, and the story of the wise man and the foolish man. We finished off class by reading the essential scripture Helaman 5:12.
We also had an excellent, impromtu devotional by one of our students. She borrowed a picture from the bulletin board that shows Jesus Christ knocking at the door. She read some of the information on the back, explained what it means, and bore her testimony. We have some excellent teachers in our seminary class!
