Remember that day when I put "Worldly Things" on one wall and "Heavenly Things" on the window across from it? That was Day 21. We revisited those ideas today as we studied Matthew 6:24. We cannot serve Heavenly Father and the Devil at the same time.
After working on memorizing the scripture, we read several other scriptures that shed more light on the subject. Then we read parts of this excellent article, a First Presidency message from the Ensign in September of 1995, by President James E. Faust. I printed out exerpts from the talk, the students read them, and then they shared what they found that was particularly important or meaningful to them. Everyone made excellent contributions.
